Sita

Sita and Adama are two young people from an African village who are madly in love. Like the majority of the young population, Adama decides to go to a neighbouring country to make enough money to marry his fiancée. Tiered of waiting until he returns, Sita's father arranges a marriage for his daughter with an old, rich and polygamous business man. The film follows the struggle of the young girl who tries to escape from this forced marriage. The strong resistance from the girl against the forced marriage is supported by her mother and aunt, and when Adama suddenly returns, this tradition, rooted in society, is brought to an ending.
