SILENCIO tells an authentic story from September 1979, the International Children’s year. 13 Chilean children forced their way into the Danish Embassy in Santiago, Chile, and began a hunger strike to get the Pinochet government to give them information about the fate of their families.SILENCIO is a drama-documentary –a format well suited for informing children about events in the world of today and creating a deeper understanding of the background and reasons for those events.
