The film “Short Time” is a new form of searching in modern avantgarde cinematography. From the many documental materials used in the film an original style is produced. Every detail of the film, be it a sequence composition, musical harmony, colour or something else, is not expressed on the screen by chance, but each one forms the emotional and dramatic chain of the film bound to one another. Everything is interpreted on the basis of the authors´ aesthetic feelings and its dialogue with the viewer in which they don´t fully open the brakes and a demarcation line between serious and non-serious. That is how inner, illogical disharmonic rhythm of the film transforms into harmony. It should be mentioned that in some episodes the music was especially selected by the authors themselves after the film montage. By combining the two realities, visual on one side and musical on the other, a picturesque contrast is achieved producing a special “spirit” which increases the audience perception. The film is the debut of the young film makers in which they meditate on time and space infinity, it´s the way of expressing their contemplations, their attempt to create one whole completed harmonic composition by means of the so-called “metaphoric circle attitude”.
