SOMETHING TO REMIND ME

Middle-aged lawyer Thomas helps attractive Leyla, when she drops her things at the pool. He picks up the courage to ask her out, and to his surprise she agrees. At the restaurant she arrives just before closing time, and they go to his flat for pizza instead. After a few drinks she falls asleep on his couch. The next morning Thomas awakes to find Leyla and his laptop containing vital files, missing…. A thriller in the tradition of Hitchcock and Chabrol utilizing a deliberately cold and clinical mise-en-scene, which manipulates the audience as skilfully as Leyla does Thomas.
