In 2001, in the offices of the secret police of Poland, a few boxes were found. Inside were films with material made between 1966 and 1985 by police filmmakers. There had been a lot more material - but it was destroyed. These reels somehow escaped destruction. They are unique. They record many different ways of social protest from those days: Street fights, hunger strikes, meetings in churches, demonstrations, self-immolations. The film also shows the method of filming, with hidden camera and camouflage.
