Rivers of Fear, Bridges of Trust

Was recently produced as the pilot of a series we´re launching this year: 'Africa: Search for Common Ground.' It is a half-hour documentary on conflict the peace process and national reconciliation in Angola, as seen through the eyes of 'ordinary' Angolans. As you know, the world media generally overlooks Africa or covers it in terms of catastrophe corruption and victimhood. African voices are often eclipsed by foreign commentary. This programme, and the entire series aims to convey signs of hope-of constructive conflictmanagement – rather than despair. The intent is also that the process of making the film serve to facilitate dialogue and joint problem solving, to enable healing and understanding to open people´s minds.
