Rianon

RIANON is an experimental TV play, based on The Visitor, a short story by Dylan Thomas. It strives to translate an atmosphere of a surrealistic language into another medium. It is also a creative vision of a poet belonging to another age. It deals with the last twenty-four hours in Dylan Thomas’ life, for the writer is dying and unaware that death is the very creature nursing him. It is a story where death is articulated at the very point where the original story ends. The programme innovates in form and content, is experimental and unusual.
