Prison Babies

'Prison Babies' was filmed over a 3 year period and is built around the notion of restoring people´s 'worlds', lives and experiences, inside and outside prison; to return to these women and their children their dignity and their lost identity by showing their despair and their hopes; to break the mad, unrelenting spiral by which prison produces future inmates; to understand what is truly special about a women´s prison.
