Prague, August 1968. Troops from five Warsaw Pact countries move into Czechoslovakia. The events, such as the demonstration outside the Prague radio building that was to prove to be one of the most serious confrontations of the invasion, were documented by then Finnish student Reijo Nikkila, who took hundreds of black and white photographs and recorded many hours of audio tape using simple non-professional recorder. Only now, 30 years later, could Nikkila, first a journalist and then a documentary-maker, restore the sound and make this unique story about those tragic days in Prague.
