Perfidious charms

Part one: “The Journey”. The meanderings of a writer between America, Europe and Africa. A crazy and interminable journey spanning the ttwenties and the thirties. Part Two: “Estrelita goes to New York”. A little gypsy girl is abducted by the shady Monsieur Gauloise in a cabaret. A couple of dancers manage to free her but Gauloise, a friend of the Nazis, has the man killed and then emprisons the woman and Estrelita. A painter named Picasso helps them to escape and they sail to New York. The main purpose of the programme (which involved in a joint venture RAI-research/RAI-campania and a private film Softvideo) is to experiment new languages in storytelling.
