Ogre eating young women under the moon

A Soprane voice retells, talking and singing all of the parts of this tale of an Operatic form: in a legendary Asia a young shepherdess is walking her goatling back home at night fall and in spite of the Ogre that is said to be prowling around… This film is essentially gestual. It is adapted from an Opera of Japanese inspiration written by the French composer Maurice OHANA. A dancer, Phuong TRAN, plays the part. Her final dance was set together with the French choreographer Karine SAPORTA whose language blends agressivity with seduction.
