One of the series programs dedicated to a particular year in the history of the 20th Century. Every show is based on the commentaries of the well-known television journalist Leonid Parfionov, and is filmed on-location at historical sites. There are also recollections of a writer, a politologist and an actress who recall their lives at the time, as well as archival footage, extracts from feature films, etc. The authors not only try to tell about the main events of a certain year, but also bring back the psychological atmosphere of the past years. The series is a kind of encyclopedia of the Soviet life, and provoke a lot of interest in the Russian audience.
