Wladimir Kozlov, a russian prisoner of war, meets a norwegian russian-speaking nurse, Gunvor Haavik in Bodø in Northern Norway. They fall in love. She helps him to scape back to the USSR. He thinks he will never see her again and marries in SU. But Gunvor can never forget him and uses all her skills and energy to get a job that can bring her to SU. She returns first as an interpreter and later as a secretary at the norwegian embassy in Moscow. She contacts him. Wladimir still loves her, but is a afraid and also the family puts pressure on him to go to the authorities to ask permission to meet her or to write to her. That is the start of the honey-trap. The couple falls into the net of the KGB. Gunvor becomes the only known norwegian women spy for the KGB and is active for about 30 years. The programme tells the love story and the tragedy of Wladimir and Gunvor.
