Mountain Dwellers

Although only 50 kilometres from Sarajevo, villages on the Bjelasnica mountain seem to belong to a different planet in an almost unknown time. Inhabitants of these villages live six months a year in marvellous Bjelasnica´s coherence, separated from the world by heaps of snow. The mountain´s severity seems to enchant these good-natured mountain dwellers, its essence nestled into their lives and thoughts. Now between two millennia, people in the village of Lukomir live as they lived a hundred years ago, calmly, modestly and proudly.
