Martin of the cross

Martin Uanque, a rural Bolivian Indian, has an identity and a destiny. He moves to the big city where he confronts challenges and change. His destiny is grim with no way out. Will his identity be annihilated? What happens to him is a symbol of the destiny that awaits all Bolivian Indians who are driven off the land into an urban environment.
