“Maria’s story” is an intimate and dramatic documentary portrait of Maria Serrano, a 39 year old Salvadoran peasant wife and mother who is now a leader in the guerrilla forces of her country. The film follows Maria through her daily life in the war and chronicles the events in Maria’s life that moved her to “pick up a gun”.
