'Hash and Rehash' is a mix of provocative, endearing, occasionally absurd insights on what modern-day Borden aficionados see in the life and trial of Lizzie Borden, America´s first 'celebrity defendant'. Acquitted of the 1892 murder of her father and stepmother, Borden´s alleged crime inspired a macabre nursery rhyme - 'Lizzie Borden took an ax and gave her mother 40 whacks. When she saw what she had done, she gave her father 41' - and today, a rock band, writers, and even a paper doll collection.
