Chris and Zora Lunnis live in Leigh On Sea with Zora’s 13-year-old son and their identical three-and-half-year-old twins Elodie and Asher. Chris is a project manager, who commutes to London every day, leaving Zora at home with the twins full time. With the twins there’s double trouble: they are extremely hard to manage, refuse to eat any vegetables, and every fuss and fight is in stereo. The twins were born two months prematurely which meant that Zora had difficulty bonding with them. Her feeling that she is a bad mother stems from this time, and as a result she feels that she has been unable to enjoy her children. Tanya Byron tries to help her gain a more positive outlook on her life with them, and to stop blaming herself. Together they explore ways of tackling the faddy eating and Zora learns how to take charge and get them to do what she wants--including getting their hair cut.
