Przamek, age 23, has been paralyzed since birth. He cannot speak at all. Considered mentally retarded, he reaches the age of 16 without ever being able to communicate with those around him. His sound mind is an entombed victim of both the doctors’ verdict and his paralyzed body. A supposed vegetable bedridden for years on end, he is nevertheless confident that a miracle will happen. One day a nursing home worker realizes that Przemek is trying to tell her something. Complete with a narration from Przemek himself, the documentary paints a reflective picture which strikes a responsive chord.
