Journey Through the Palace Museum

Volunteer guide Zhang Luojun takes two children through the museum to enjoy the portraits of Emperors and Empresses from ancient Chinese dynasties. Afterwards everyone helps to organize a beauty contest for beautiful fi gures from ancient times. Each dynasty had its own individual style of dress, jewelery, make-up and hairstyles. This activity not only helps the children to broaden their horizons, but also to appreciate different perspectives of “beauty” through the ages.
