Homo Sapiens: Suburban Palace

Suburban Palace is a love story about a young cosmopolitan couple pursuing their dream of the perfect life we see portrayed in the ads. As they try to recreate the ideal childhood they never quite had, we realize that all is not as easy as it seems in the glossy magazines. The film is about giving in to suburban middle-class life and about the struggle of keeping love intact when the routines of everyday life knock on the door. The programme also raises the question: How far can the filmmaker go? This portrait is very intimate and revealing.
