Home is where the heart is

This original film-scenario by René Verheezen tells the story of a group of down-and-outs in a “Poverello” style reception center in Brussels. Despite the hopelessness of their situation the leading characters carry on their lives with a single-mindedness and optimism which can move mountains. Everything is imbued with a humor which makes one forget the greyness and emptiness of poverty.
