A journalistic TV programme that, in a very energetic way and with direct, indiscrete journalistic means, tries to get a grip on the problems of young people. Holy Cow does not just passively register the problems of young people. It takes an active part in solving them. Holy Cow is the first format of pure “civic journalism” in Denmark. It is a format that - through interactivity on the web and openness - forms a bridge to the youth. In Holy Cow, the young people become the hosts of their own programmes - and have the opportunity to solve their own problems. Holy Cow is a soapbox from which the young people can speak - and be heard! Holy Cow is supported by activities on the web, and the web is the very centre of the dialogue between the editors of Holy Cow and the young people. In live-editing meetings, chat-debate and on line contact, the young people will find that, on Holy Cow, there is very short distance between anonymity and broadcasting. The staff is ready to move out and solve their problems.
