HEY YOU, HEAVEN! Is a Swedish play about the Russian revolutionalist Alexandra Kollontay, who by her way of life and pursuits worked to link women’s rights and freedom and peace with soviet socialism. A stubborn struggle for her ideals became a struggle for life and her own survival.The ambition was to come as close as possible to a live broadcast, and the recording was thus made in a few long sequences.By placing the actors in the centre and by letting the technique subordinate, the feeling of attendance in a stage theater was obtained.
