HIDDEN

“Hidden” is based on an interview with 12 year old Giancarlo, who lives as a hidden refugee in Sweden. Giancarlo is from Peru and hasn’t got a permit to stay. He describes what it is like to feel persecuted by the police and others. At first the interview was supposed to be a small part of a radio documentary, but Giancarlo’s way of telling his story was so unique, that the idea of combining his voice with 3D animation was born. By combining documentary sound with animation, the directors try to create a level where you can listen to and absorb the story of one refugee child in a new way.
