Global Africa: the last program in the 9-part series THE AFRICANS, focuses on African efforts to become players rather than pawns in global affairs. Among the issues covered in the film are: racism, The African diaspora and the potential influence of black Americans on policies towards Africa, Africa´s critical resources, the international role of Muslim countries through oil; Africa and nuclear capability, and international cooperation.
