“Get’im Stanzi” offers original and satirical treatment of the problems of women’s emancipation. They are presented in the shape of a catch contest in ten rounds, with strong involvement on the part of the audience seated around the ring. The referee depicts a psychiatrist who provides a commentary on the various stages of the fight. The central figure is Stanzi, a working girl whom we follow form childhood to adulthood through successive catch competitions, as she searches for her independence and her own personality. In her role as a woman catch fighter, Stanzi has come inter her own. First she wins a series of titles, and in the end, after a homeric battle, she even defeats her husband Tony Macho.
