This ' Kuchar-style' documentary provides a unique look into the world of 'underground films'; their low-budget productions, non professional actors and improvised sets. The film presents an alternative look at a rarely sceened style of American filmmarking. The Kuchar style often contrasts with and parodies the over budgeted, over-glamorous and commercial products from Hollywood. The importance of the film to me is that it makes us laugh at not only the characters on the scren, but perhaps at ourselves.
