These two-minute films demonstrate the problems, dreams and hopes of the inhabitants: students, hairdressers, ambulance men, musicians or fi shermen who, thoughseparated by just a few kilometres, live totally different lives. In partnership with the Sapir School of Cinema, two local crews from the Ramattan Studio in Gaza and Alma Films/Trabelsi Productions in Sderot record the enormous gap between what can be considered normal everyday life and what cannot. The emotions aroused by these strikingly different subjects are tinged with curiosity.
