Foligno Exhibition'67

In Foligno, near Perugia, in a medieval palace, Palazzo Trinci, and exhibition took place in 1967, whose title was: Space of Image. Lucio Fontana, Ettore Colli and 19 young Italian artists were invited. Four minutes reconstruct in the program the 1967 exhibition by means of a series of different actions. This special program wants to be an example of linguistic research while substituting one medium – the object of figurative arts in the exhibition – with another one – a filmed mime’s action. The mimes’ action goes on almost always analogically and the photographed documentation of works exhibited in 1967 is rare indeed. The four mimes give an interpretation of the exhibited works without didactic or exegetic intentions while playing the role of different visitors, or providing visual ideas of space and volume or experimenting with their bodies light, colour and sound situations.
