Favourite teacher

Favourite Teacher is a program from the MEDJUTIM (MEANWHILE …) series. It differs however from earlier programs in that it is made up of three stories, each one about an ordinary and unknown person. These are teachers, from among ten teachers who last year were singled out as recipients of the Yugoslav Favourite Teacher Award for his or her distinction. Each story is, in effect, a rich and moving, in its own way, epic, told not just by its hero, but by the people, too, of the village where the Favourite Teacher has spent virtually his or her entire teaching career. Pupils, friends and associates join in telling the story. The program was filmed I its entirety in the respective villages and is a documentary.
