Experiments: Filmfestival Cologne 1991

On the occasion of the second Cologne Filmfestival, four filmmakers have been asked to record their impressions of the event, using the cinematic means of their choice. The intent is to gain a “subjective” insight as opposed to the standard, seemingly “objective” journalistic reporting –six impressions representing the broad spectrum of what can be achieved with the film: From the experimental film to the documentary; from interviews to observations from the periphery, using High 8, U-matic or Betacam. The common thread is the wholly individual perspective of the persons behind the camera.
