Everyone's channel is a 1 hs video documentary about the history of public access Television in the U.S. Public access is a unique service of cable TV whereby ordinary people are given training, equipment and channel time to produce and distribute there own TV programs. The history of 'public access·' is a story about freedom of expression meeting the electronic age. Everyone´s Channel looks at the people, ideas, and technological develomen ts that made public access TV a reality. The program will air on Channel Four in early 1990. So far it has been accepted for the upcoming AFI (American Film Institute) festival and will also be screened at the Whitney Museum in early 1990.
