And how you sometimes forget yourself and who you are in the process. 21-year old Asta is forced to move back to her parents in the countryside after a few years in Copenhagen trying to make it as an actress. She feels disgusted with everything she comes from. Her home coming challenges her many preconceptions about life including her relationship towards herself, her parents, her younger sister with cerebral palsy, her old friends. This forces her to find out what is hiding behind the Instagram filtered life she is pretending to live. Doggystyle is the most talked-about public service series of 2018 in Denmark. The creator, most of the actors and crew are young, new faces - a big part of DR’s strategy: to bring out and give birth to new talent.
