Most people hold the government accountable for the nuclear weapons race and its disastrous health and environmental side effects. But what about the corporations who influence and profit from the nuclear arms race? Corporations like industry leader, General Electric. GE says it “Bring Good Things To Life.” But does it really? “Deadly Deception” juxtaposes GE´s rosy commercials with the true stories of those whose lives have been devastated by the company´s involvement in testing and making bombs. It reveals what GE has never wanted its customers to know, and offers hope in the power of people working to change the deadliest industry of all. “Deadly Deception” is the inspiring story of June Casey, Tom Bailie, and Jack Shannon, victims of GE who refuse to be silenced. Of Don Cole, who tells the tragic story of his brother, a GE nuclear weapons plant worker, who died because of his employer´s neglect. And “Deadly Deception” depicts the expanding campaign run by INFACT, the grassroots, corporate-responsibility organization, to get GE and all other companies out of the nuclear weapons business.
