Children

“Extra” is the first pan-European TV magazine of the new Europe, co-produced by SVT1, BBC, RAI, Antenne 2, FR3, TVE and MTV. Each of the ten 52- minutes programmes has a theme: Cultural Identity, Holidays & Tourism, Law &Order, Sports & Money, Magic &Religion, Exile, Children, Land, Excess & Sex, and Relationships. There is keen interest in a continuation series. The content, form, graphics, topicality and length of each feature have been discussed in depth at regular weekly meetings attended by all parties involved. The focus throughout has been on pictorial communication (graphics and camerawork). The camera is a reporter, and the images are in a modern, “streetwise” style.
