Central high school: Little rock Arkansas

In 1957, Governor Orville Faubus called out the National Guard to prevent desegration of Central. President Eisenhower responded by using the U.S. Army to help nine Backs enter the school. Through the use of archive footage and footage shot in 1979, this program documents progress since 1957, concluding that the school has gone beyond desegregation toward true integration.
