The iconic avantgarde Chilean Singer Cecilia is known as 'The Incomparable' for her stunning voice and disinhibited performance. She was a brave pioneer in the late 1950s, non- binary archetype, emblem of diversity and female empowerment. This is her life story signed and sung in her own voice. Her homosexual disposition, the traumatic time in jail and her rebirth from ashes to be 'the song that never ends' are narrated through poetry, music and temporal ellipses. In this first episode Cecilia recapitulates how her voice with unparalleled range is discovered at school in 1960. Her success is overwhelming. At the same time her loving awakening with her best friend Morena is a serious problem with the conservative environment. We jump to 1980s imprisonment that put her career at risk as the brutal beating of the interrogation leaves Cecilia unable to sing.
