Cause of Death: Unknown

Through the series, we study 13 different cases of diseased animals. The end goal is to reveal the cause of death. In case the animal was deliberately put to death due to illness, we investigate the illness. We are surrounded by bodies, but what do we really know of their functions? We are explaining and demonstrating different parts and organs, making references both to the human body and to things that our target audience will recognise. There is nothing staged, nor scripted. The clinic is a government facility for necropsies, and their cases range from pets to wild animals. We are taking part in a normal, standard procedure, the animal would have been examined in the same way also without a camera crew present.
