Brandon, one for the team

In this episode, Brandon, a kid with Down’s Syndrome, is accepted with some reluctance by the rest of his schoolmates into the soccer team. He seems very clumsy and has some difficulty communicating, but he is very friendly and eager to participate. However, the other children and even the teachers distrust his ability to integrate and function as a part of the team. They will soon discover his ability to play and as a result, their prejudice against him will break down. Kipatla, the name of an imaginary town, is a fiction series for children ages 7 to 12 that deals with the issue of prejudice and various forms of discrimination in everyday life. Each episode tells the story of a boy or girl who is experiencing some form of discrimination.
