Blue memory

Solange, Marguerite and Solange, three women from very different backgrounds, born at the turn of the century, finish their lives in an old age home, resisting, each in her own way, the slow degradation of old age... Daniele, the camerawoman and director, and Patrick, th sound engineer, spent 4 months with them making this film. More than a descriptive documentary about a reality which concerns 85% of the octogenarians in France, BLUE MEMORY is a film about the intimate relationship established, through cinema and beyond words, with three people who are said to be demented or senile.
