“Banda Aceh on the day” is a first hand account of the Tsunami that devastated many parts of Asia, and claimed hundreds of thousands of lives, on December 26th, 2004.This documentary is a stark and f irst hand account from two cameramen who were in Banda Aceh filming when the earthquake, and then Tsunami, struck. “ B a n d a A c e h o n t h e d a y ” i s t o l d a s a chronology and it reminds us that it all began with an earthquake… an event which was soon overtaken by the colossal impact of the killer tide that followed.
