The hard-working men from the city of Bamako are in search of work. A young country boy named Balla Diara is the owner of a little cart, he is mistaken and insulted every day by this customers. In his attempt to integrate the complex face of the city life Balla Diara meets a young engineer. Their meeting brings several socio-economical problems. The hard tests to which is confronted the emerging working class in a country in development shows the gear of better the cancan in which are the young people with ideas of equity, justice and renovation. What is the significance of the program for input? First African attempt to approach the working class problems through picture work. The rhythm is quick like a “prise de conscience” of the social classes that we see in the movie. Each character is a heroe.
