A recently divorced father sets out to win over his ex-wife and kids. Taking along a work buddy without letting him in on the plan, Jean-Louis drops in on his wife and kids who have relocated to the south of France. Too anxious to ponder, too hurried to explain himself, he drags everybody into an explosive week-end full of revelations. Dramatic comedy shot in a few days on Mini DV, “Back for More” resembles cinema direct both in technique and in spirit. The result is a cinematic entity that is alive and in constant evolution, a raw, sincere and stimulating spectacle.
