Arts On 2

“Arts On 2” is an eclectic magazine-format series offering a new way of looking at the arts in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. This is the first television series which presents, discusses, celebrates and critiques the cultural life of our area. A segmented format allows each show to intersperse performance, critique, discussion and documentary features. The focus includes not only the traditional arts, but also architecture, design and popular culture. The series presents the arts, as well as also opens the door to an inside view of the forces which shape the arts – the economics, personalities and politics at work up front and behind the scenes. “Arts On 2” is a central and ongoing “place” where artists, arts organizations, commentators and the viewing audience can meet – for experimentation, examination, information and inspiration. Current and “smart”, “Arts On 2” presents the arts as active, relevant, timely aspects of community life.
