Antonio Saura

This is an approach of an artist who is considered as the most important Spanish painter after Picasso and Miro’s generation. Throughout the program, Antonio Saura himself is on a quest for his own roots, from the “Venus of Lespuges”, to the classical period of Spanish painting. Meanwhile, he is trying his skill at new means of expression such as computer-made cartoons.Generally, in a program of this kind, the director tries to find out the personality of a painter. In this very program, the director shows a painter who tries to identify his own self and to gaze into his own future.
