Alaska

An employee is planning to run away with his boss’s wife and money. That is, a woman is planning to run away with her lover and her husband’s money. But also: a man finds his wife’s red scarf and then… One story usually means different stories for different people. From this point of view, Mike van Diem thought up and made his film for his finals exam for the Film an Television Faculty at the Amsterdam College of Art (the former Film – and Television Academy). “Alaska” was also part of the final exams of Rogier Stoffers (camera), Marcel Prins (lighting) and Jessica de Koning (editing). With: Koole (Willem Nijholt), Renate (Maave van der Steen), Mario (Coen van Vrijbergue de Coningh). “Alaska” is a co-production of the Amsterdam College of Art, Film and Television Faculty and the Nos.
