ASSIGNMENT: INVESTIGATE!

Before the general election a reporter travels around Sweden incognito with a hidden camera to talk to politicians staffing the parties’ election booths in various public places. He encounters views about refugees, immigrants and integration, that are far removed from the humanistic content of the same parties’ printed manifests – especially in the case of Sweden’s conservative party, The Moderates. The programme was broadcast 4 days before the election, and 8 Moderate politicians had to resign while a ninth was dismissed. The party suffered an 8% loss of votes, and the party chairman blames this programme.
