During a stay in the country, Lionel Legros discovers the signs of a disease growing inside him. The diagnosis is cancer. Refusing to remain passive in the face of the reality of illness, he takes his camera and starts to film everything: Hospital, family, doctors. And by doing so, he builds a distance between himself and the illness, becomes subject and object of his own film. But the eye of the camera also becomes the spectator’s eye and rebuilds a problematic distance to its object.
