A question of fact

This programme was made as an April Fool´s Day joke, and was shown on 1/4/86. It appears to be a documentary which purports to show that Adolph Hitler visited England in 1936 at the invitation of Unity Mitford, who was a member of a very famous and somewhat eccentric aristocratic family- and was one of several sisters, all of whom achieved fame and or notoriety during their lives. The documentary uses authentic film library material of the period, and specially shot, fictitious material to tell and incredible story. It might seem real -but it is quite untrue. Before and after transmission the story caused and uproar.
